High Protein Red Lentil and Yellow Pea Pasta with Fermented Black Garlic
Ingredients:
HP red lentil and yellow pea fusilli 250g
Butter 50g
Fermented black garlic 1pc
Parmesan 100g
Liquid cream 500 ml
Salt/Pepper
A few threads of chivas
Preparation Instructions
- Boil the pasta for 5-6 minutes, on low heat, without a lid, stirring occasionally;
- In a pan, melt the butter over low heat;
- After the butter has completely melted, add the black garlic, which is crushed with a fork until it becomes a fine puree;
- Leave the black garlic puree to cook for 1 minute, to release the flavours, then add the liquid cream;
- Let the cream cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce begins to slightly thicken;
- The cooked and strained pasta is immediately added to the pan, mixing it well in the sauce;
- All the ingredients are cooked on low heat for a maximum of 1 minute, to combine the flavours;
- At the end, the pasta is decorated with finely chopped chivas, for a touch of freshness. This is a simple and elegant recipe, perfect for bringing out the complex flavour of black garlic!
